Who Am I?

I'm just a small town girl who has lived in a big city (Madrid) and another country (Spain) most of my adult life. Born in the Bluegrass State (Kentucky), I was perfectly content living there until my university Spanish professor declared that people from Kentucky never wanted to leave, so I had to prove her wrong. Besides, she knew the director of the language institute where I worked until it closed in 2004. The small town girl in me doesn't enjoy the crowds of the city centre, but I usually enjoy living in a city.Naturally I'd love to have a place in the mountains because the heat in the summer in Madrid can be unbearable. I'll put that on my wish list. One more thing about me: my first language is Spanglish.
